From the South and New York City: New York State Thruway north to Exit 24, Albany. Follow signs to I-87 North (Northway) towards Montreal .Take I- 87 north 59 miles north to Warrensburg, Exit 23. At top of ramp, go left to the traffic light (Route 9). Go right (north) on Route 9, and continue 4 and 1/2 miles through the village of Warrensburg. At the blinking light (Route 28) go left towards Wevertown and North Creek. Continue on Route 28 16 miles to North Creek. Continue straight on Route 28 5 miles further to North River. When you see the sign "North River", the Hudson River will be on your right. At Barton Mines Road in North River, make a left. Cross RR tracks, and make a quick right onto Schoolhouse Road. Take Schoolhouse Road 6/10 of a mile up to #195 on right. Long driveway in. Carriage House is on left. From East and West: Take New York State I- 90 to Albany. From Albany, take I - 87 North (Northway) towards Montreal, and travel 59 miles north to Warrensburg, Exit 23. Follow directions as above. From North: Take New York State I - 87 (Northway) south to Exit 25, Chestertown. From Chestertown, follow Route 8 west approx 12 miles to Route 28, Wevertown (traffic light). Go right (north) at light 5 miles to North Creek. Continue straight on Route 28 5 miles to North River. Follow directions as above.
